"Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont."

"Our deluxe room in The Mansfield House was spacious, clean and well located. The staff from front desk to the reception and wait staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Parking was plentiful and well placed. We had an outstanding dinner at the Wip bar one night and delicious dessert after dinner at another place the next night. Both were outstanding."

"Breakfast was great. And the hotel looks like it was great in its time. They appear to be painting and repairing the facility but they aren’t moving very fast. Our bed was worn out and I wouldn’t have been able to stay a fourth night. I hurt so bad after sleeping on that bed. We were there 3 nights and the four daytime days there was never any activity on the front porch as far as construction but it was blocked off for repairs. The whole town was a disappointment as far as being kept up. And...

"This hotel it a hidden gem. The breakfast was way better than I expected it to be. It had everything waffles bagels donuts fruit. String cheese. Was overwhelmed deciding what to pick. Air-conditioning worked well. No issue checking in Early around 1:00 pm to get to the gate at Do Good Fest for 1:30 pm when the gate opened. East to get in after the concert. Everything was excellent clean. Plenty of towels soap etc. even had spectrum internet. Only 15 minutes from National life group by. Car....
