"Posting said English and Spanish spoken but the person I dealt with spoke no English. We did ok though. She was a very hard worker and kept the place spotless top to bottom, not just the room. Almost every appliance you could think of was available for your use. Mercado was two blocks down on the same side of the street. Couple of places to get something to eat on the way there. It’s in the heart of downtown San Jose."

"This is a nice little apartment that has an amazing view! We especially liked the easy walk to all the shops and markets a few blocks away. The building if very safe and secure with a guard at the door. They also have many extra rooms to meet in, a pool, and pet park. We didn't have time to use them but looked enjoyed looking around and seeing the interesting décor. "5 stars...the listing and photos are accurate. It provides economical lodging in a Fantastic location to explore museums and culture. Walking distance to Teminal Atlantico Norte...improtant to us as we were traveling onward to Cahuita. Several bus routes stop within a block of the apartment if you want to travel around the city. "We liked the convenience of a nearby well stocked supermarket and proximity to major street with bus service. Bring your earplugs though as the sounds of the street/cars are quite loud at night. "Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this condo in Escalante. It has easy access to all the restaurants in the area. The condo itself was very welcoming and had all the modern essentials. There's lots to do here including the gym and the theme rooms on the top level. The view is amazing! Very pet friendly. Washer/dryer. My only complaint is the noisy train. If you can get past that, this place is fantastic! The concierge is excellent here. Always quick to reply back and very helpful with booking...
