"We recently enjoyed a stay at Villa Castiglioni. The property more than exceeded our expectations! The location is wonderful, the property beautiful and the views amazing. "This is a great location in the central lake area. Close enough to to more touristy areas, but more like a local neighborhood. Near to the Lenno boat which has regular service in central lake area. "Beautiful property, magnificent lake views from all bedrooms. Excellent location, easy walking distance to restaurants, a main attraction historic Villa, and the ferry. Owner took her time explaining how to get to each attraction, best bakery, recommended restaurants which lived up to the hype, happily arranged water taxi, and was responsive when we had additional questions throughout our stay. Loved it all!"

"We had the most incredible week with our family of 7 adults at Francesco’s Villa La Ruga directly on Lake Como. We enjoyed so many things about the house including morning coffee on the patio, evening bocce tournaments, a wonderful dinner cooked by Chef Umberto, a wonderful boat tour of Lake Como with Francesco, and much more. "We had a wonderful welcome from the reception and concierge team. We had urgent documents to print and sign and the team were very efficient and helpful, thank you Vanessa! Our room was beautiful, and we had a lovely welcoming bottle of wine on arrival. The restaurant didn’t cater particularly well for Coeliacs but we had a celebration dinner with friends and they were made to feel very welcome. The concierge gave us great gluten free eating recommendations We will definitely visit again, thank you. "
