"We stayed at this hotel in 2023 and had a much better experience than this time. During our recent 10-night stay, the overall cleanliness was disappointing. The floors were dirty and were not cleaned even once during our stay, and the rooms had noticeable stains. A lot seems to have changed since 2023, unfortunately not for the better. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, the breakfast buffet manager was quite rude—not directly to us, but we overheard him speaking harshly, saying he “only has two hands” and showing attitude toward guests. The location is great, which is a big plus. Still, due to the cleanliness issues and overall decline in service, we would not choose to stay here again."

"I read in the previous article before booking the hotel that it was about a 13-minute walk from the Blue Mosque square, but the result is this: 13 minutes of walking spent climbing a very steep road until you're out of breath."

"It is a nice property but they really need to sort their central heating as you cant change the setting and in the night the temperature goes up to 27 degrees. Not a single night I had a pleasant sleep!!!"

"We stayed in late January earlier this year and the hotel was just perfect. Located close to all the major sites, everything was in walking distance including a plethora of restaurants. The hotel itself was welcoming with complimentary treats in the room which was a pleasant surprise and overall staff were helpful. Breakfast was brilliant, offering a wide selection and staff were attentive including Rehmatullah who took his time every morning to check in with us, absolutely lovely gentleman. Can't fault our stay and am looking to book my second stay with them!"

The location was very central and within walking distance to shops and restaurants and major sites like Hagia Sophia Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapı Palace, and Grand Bazaar. The staff was super, the location could not have been better - quick walk to sites i.e. Cistern entrance across the street, Galhane gardens a block away. Two tram sites 100 yards, St. Sophia practically in the hotel's back yard. Cars don't go directly to hotel as its on historical site but they drop or pick up about 50 yards away. We took Tram ride from Galata port to hotel. About $1.50."
