I booked a twin room , arrived to check in @ 7pm. Only had a double bed. & staff advised me they were fully booked! Reception said you will have to sleep together. I said no , thats not an option, as I booked two beds & not my problem you made the mistake. They then finally found a room with twin beds!!!. 40mins later. We had to shift our own bags no help offered. Didn't have breakfast as checked out early . Staff not very user friendly .

Upon arrival, I got there about an hour before designated check in. My room was ready and they graciously allowed me to check in a little bit early. On top of that, they also stored luggage for two of my friends I was traveling with before they flew out later that evening at no cost. Although it’s in a more residential/business location, it is conveniently not far from the airport, and also very near a bus line that takes you directly to the center city of Cagliari. The restaurant in the hotel has great food. Would recommend and will revisit if I return to the city.

Good hotel close to the airport

I needed a hotel for one night, close to the airport and this definitely worked: nice, clean, comfortable and 7 mins taxi from the airport terminal, friendly staff, I arrived after midnight which was not a problem at all. Good value for money as well.

Good stopover hotel. Not a great location coming from the port at 10pm but apart from that and a slightly hard bed it was quiet, modern, good staff and breakfast. Not great for any more than a stop over or business l.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. I think the breakfast should start before 7am. It is close to the airport so alot of customers will.miss breakfast as they have to get to the airport early.

Very nice hotel. We stayed one night, primarily for convenience as only a short drive from airport. The hotel is not far from city centre and, although we did't use it, understand it is v near a bus route in/out. The area around the hotel is largely residential/light industrial, but it felt safe. The room was spotless, quiet, had very comfortable beds and a great shower. We had dinner in the stylish restaurant which was tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet had a good range of lovely hot and cold options. Staff were courteous and helpful.

On arrival I was greeted warmly and given instructions of the area :) He was so good at giving me tips. The cleaner made my holiday. She spoke Italian, I spoke English, we hugged we kissed every day I was there! Made me feel like so at home. And breakfast I was greeted with the kindest staff, always served with a smile. I was given another room as the first one had an issue with the shower as the water wasn’t contained to one section so I spent the night worried that the water would spill into my room area. The phone didn’t work which reception confirmed and the second room, a few calls were directed to my room for an unknown reason! All in good humour. I would still recommend this place purely on the attention given when I had an issue. Scala is super busy so don’t take it personally if they don’t come right away. The wait is worth it. Had the seafood soup with burrata after a long journey and oh vei!

When we asked about the arcade/games room and nearby health club, staff said there wasn’t any. Perhaps the arcade/games room that was advertised was the small kids area? Overall the hotel was clean and staff friendly and accomodating and one quick bus ride in to the main part of the city.

Hi The hotel was clean and the standard good. But it was too noisy in the morning when the cleaning staff were doing their duties. It seems that the walls were to thin thus to much noise. The management should think about this.

This hotel was very nice in a very good value is very close to the airport and 2 miles from the city center. Taxis are required. Please ask them to turn on their meters or confirm the price to your destination before getting in them. Their restaurant La Scala was excellent!! I told them they deserve at least one or two Michelin stars. it is a great value incredible service and excellent food. Overall, this hotel worked great together as a team and you could tell how people are that work here. They were very helpful in booking excursions. Their restaurant buffet is excellent and the service is very good.! I was very happy to stay here for five days and now I’m at the Palazzo Tirso Which is €500 a night versus €100 a night for hotel Sardinia. A great value! I would recommend this to anyone that wants to come to Cagliari…. Kevin W

Stayed there for 6 days with my partner and it was great. The location is perfect 5min from the center by car. 10 min from the beach (Poetto beach) or 15 min from Cala Bernat which is beautiful! Free parking at the hotel and free breakfast which was amazing! The staff were very welcoming, the room was clean and modern.
