"This is a lovely grand hotel, you really couldn't get a much better location at the foot of Lake Como. Our room looked directly over the lake, access to the shops and multitude of restaurants took only a few minutes. The hotel had lovely period features, dining room was stunning and our room though on the small side was very cosy, the bed exceptionally comfortable and had more than adequate storage. Breakfast was good and the cleaners did a brilliant job. All in all highly recommended."

"Nice enclosed courtyard bar blooming with sweet smelling star jasmine, with comfortable chairs and love seats--perfect for an Aperol Spritz and quiet conversation. The in-house dinnertime restaurant doubled as a generous breakfast buffet. Downside: theshower entrance is very narrow and I am not. The AC had to be controlled and adjusted at the reception desk."

"A very nice and extremely convenient place to stay before flying back home to Canada. The airport is a 4-minute drive from the hotel so it was nice to be able to drop off our rental the same day as heading home. The hotel is beautiful, quiet and peaceful despite being so close to the airport. "
