This photo of me was taken by a friend as we made our way to mile marker 21.9 - Tunnel #19, Silver Run Tunnel. At 1,376' long and constructed of brick, it's a damp, dark walk into the abyss. Make sure you take a flashlight along with you as this tunnel is reported to be haunted! It is always a fun time exploring West Virginia's trails. :)

Breath of fresh air!

Very quiet and peaceful. Nice little gift shop up front. Beautiful lobby area with fireplace to sit and relax. If you want to get away from all of the noise, this is the place to be. I just would have asked for some information in the room about policies, restaurant info, room service, etc. There was not any in my room anyway.
