Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Cairo Maadi by IHG
A nice hotel with welcoming staff and a pretty good breakfast. The rest of the food was okay, mostly offering international cuisine nothing local or authentic. Pool with view of the Nile is a highlight.

Le Méridien Cairo Airport
Needed to be close to airport for early departure. There is a 5 min walking bridge to/from hotel which is great. Hotel is ideal, nice, and well kept. Restaurant by the pool was enjoyable.

This was a short overnight between planes so did not stay for breakfast. Extremely convenient to Cairo airport e.g. 5 minutes and shuttle is every half hour and they provide a system to meet outside the terminal. the staff was very responsive to emails and questions.
