"We stayed as a family of four for four days. We had a car. Perfect position to explore beaches in west of island. 5 minutes to town centre. We parked for free at east end of harbour parking when out for food in evening. We ate in the restaurant next door on 1st night (lovely waiter and 10% bill discount as hotel residents). You can walk 1 minute over road to quiet beach or 5 minutes to busier beach with cafe/bar. Breakfast very good quality and plentiful. Staff constantly refreshing supplies. Staff in hotel friendly,welcoming,helpful. Baia Trinita and Carlotto beaches visited.Busy as day goes on. Make sure you have a parasol! We also dined at La Marachella (quite good),L’aragosta(very good) and Friggitoria Cavaliere(very good) The key question is would I go back? Absolutely. La Maddalena was a lovely break."

"We had a very pleasant stay overall. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, with an easy walk to the nearby beach, and the parking was convenient and plentiful. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and having an ocean view was definitely a wonderful bonus. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, and the bathroom layout felt somewhat awkward. The shower was also quite small compared to what we expected. That said, these were minor drawbacks compared to all the positives. The great service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic location made for an enjoyable stay. We would happily consider staying here again."

"There are not enough adjectives to describe the beauty of this property. The home itself is incredible… Spacious, immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. We had all that we needed. The property itself is equally incredible… The view is stunning. The landscaping around the property is exquisite. Everything was as described and or better. The house manager and cleaning staff went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. We highly recommend this property and we hope to come back. It was everything we wanted and more. "

"Hotel Rafael was amazing. Great little cove, super small and cute hotel. Amazing staff, thank you Martina! The only issue is it is quite far from other restaurants, you have to drive 10+ minutes. Restaurants and shopping at the hotel area is great. Good place to lounge and relax."
