"We recently visited Argentario for a joint 40th birthday trip and it did not disappoint. The hotel was beautiful and situated in a stunning landscape. The golf course was incredible and in perfect condition. Throughout our stay the staff were excellent and we were made to feel very welcome and looked after. "We went to Isola del Giglio on our honeymoon. The moment we arrived to Hotel L’Arenella we were amazed. The location is beyond incredible, just a short walk from the nearest beach. "Beautiful view from the property. Google Maps does NOT bring you to the address. Property manager speaks absolutely no English. We could not get into the house and had to find a hotel to help us make phone calls and wait for help. Cats are numerous and they are all starving and frantic. Bed Is just average and sheets feel cheap and old. Nespresso coffee maker plugged us and did not work causing coffee to go everywhere.. The walk to the beach is very steep and a real workout to get back. If you want a very remote location with a beautiful view, lots of light, and quiet this is the place for you but expect to have some difficulties with details like how to get there when google map gps won't get you there... really a bummer to start a trip with."

"The accommodation was as described and fully met our expectations. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, there was a little delicious surprise to welcome us and communication with them was very easy.The kitchen was very well equipped and functional. One suggestion for improvement would be better mosquito protection with appropriate screens on the windows/doors.The free entry for 4 people to the Cala Piccola bathing complex is a big plus for the accommodation."
