Perfect Hotel for a Quick Business Trip

The hotel islocated in a very peaceful location. Having a car is highly advised as the resort is huge. Staff from the front desk to the restaurant were all very nice. The rooms were more than enough for one human being. Breakfast was plated but tasty. I highly recommend the milk fish.

Perfect Disconnect from City Stress

I had some meetings in Calaca and decided to stay the night in Canyon Woods. I was not expecting much from previous reviews and I was surely IMPRESSED with what I saw. Check In was very efficient with knowledgeable staff. The room itself was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning which is a must was strong and cool. The best thing about this hotel is the view during sunrise. You get a glimpse of the sun with the Taal Lake as your background. The breakfast was plated but very good. The bangus fish meal is highly recommended. Overall! Pleasantly surprised. I will come back with my family to enjoy the various amenities this resort has to offer.

Highly recommended

The place still has its grandeur amidst the need to have some of the facilities renovated. Some of the facilities are closed like the indoor pool and fun area. The people are friendly

Lovely big bed! Enormous shower - and a bathroom upstairs as well as downstairs. No fridge or WiFi in the rooms - would have been nice. Drinking water would have been good to have.

The club was old and outdated. Buffet breakfast was supposedly until 10am but at 9:40am, all the foods are gone and we’re just given the menu to order for an ala carte breakfast

OVERALL THE PLACE IS NICE AND CLEAN, THE ONLY THING THAT I'M NOT SATISFIED WITH IS MY ROOM REQUEST WAS NOT GRANTED, I REQUESTED THAT MY ROOM SHOULD BE LOCATED AT THE HIGHER FLOOR BUT THEY GIVE ME A ROOM THAT'S LOCATED AT THE SECOND FLOOR. AND THEY DON'T HAVE A COMPLIMENTARY GOODS OR CAKE FOR BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS I EVEN INCLUDE IT TO MY REQUEST. BUT THAT'S OKAY. BECAUSE THEY HAVE A CAFE' WHICH YOU CAN BUY A CAKE AND THE SECOND OPTION IS TO GO AT TWIN LAKES IT'S THE NEAREST PLACE TO BUY THE THINGS THAT YOU NEED AND FOODS THAT YOU WANT.

Our room was upgraded to Executive because the room we booked was not available upon arrival. Awesome room with great view. Kids really enjoyed the spacious room. Though during the first night, the tv in the room as well as the hot and cold shower and the phone as well didn’t work but was fixed the next day. Staff were really accomodating, respectful and helpful. I commend Kuya Ferdi(shuttle bus driver) for being so happily showing us the whole place. He is fantastic. There’s alot of nice things to do. My kids enjoy fishing and swimming and climbing the ropes and the table hockey. Definitely we will come. It was an amazing two day stay.

Beautiful location atop the mountain with spectacular views. Room had a odor to it.Balony door did not lock.Refrig only had 2 bottles of water. No tooth brush or paste. A new building is being built next door maybe to replace current building.Wish I had more time to explore more of this area. But will return in the future...
