"Villa was very clean, and well equipped. We had a great time. Communication with Gillian (the host) was great, we asked to book in early and this was not an issue. The location was a tab hilly for my father-in-law. There are quite a few bars and restaurants in walking distance; a mini mart and supermarket are within walking distance but if you have a few items of shopping it is advisable to jump in a cab for your return journey. "Our stay was fantastic. From the friendly welcome when we arrived, to the moment we left - we really felt at home. Small added touches like cling film and extra suncream, rubber ring and pool noodles were really appreciated! The villa is well equipped, comfortable and private. "Just spent 10 days at this villa and had a great time. We couldn’t have asked for more with everything we needed being there. The little touches including the basics you need without having to shop on arrival (including a massive bag of fresh oranges) were gratefully received. The pool was such a good size and both adults and kids alike had fun. "My family decided to rent this villa over Christmas there were 13 of us, mostly adults but 2 young children and some younger adults, communication was great no issues, the villa location was just on the out side of town but a short ride to town by taxi, or there’s a bus, the villa was excellent maybe needing a freshen up but nothing major, the pool was cold but I suppose in summer months this isn’t an issue, all in all we had a great time and I would recommend this villa, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Excellent stay - have stayed before at McDonald Villacana resort, but needed to be a little closer to Calahonda this time. The apartment we had was on the first floor with a sea view from the balcony. The apartment was larger than expected and had a large balcony too (big enough for a table with 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers without being cramped). An added bonus was the washing machine in the apartment. Food in the restaurant was great - wouldn't hesitate to use again or to recommend."
