Such a great experience, staff was great (shout out to Jagrita for great dinner recommendations), breakfast buffet was also solid. Great location in the centre of it all. Hotel transportation options are also very reasonable. Would definitely stay again.

It is no where near the beach. Do not come to goa by reserving from expedia. Lots of good options are available as walk in.

Calangute town is very busy- it is quite scary if you're driving scooter. Avoid.

Calangute has a nice mix of things. You can find pockets of quiet sand to relax, or enjoy the range of water sports that Goa offers. Lots of restaurants of varying quality and price in the area. The sea was very rough during our visit.

Rather visiting Calangute beach I recommend visiting Tivai Beach. Just google map Chelsea Shack and that área is the perfect spot to stay at the beach.
