I loved my stay here. Clean, beautiful decor, extremely helpful staff and a café with fantastic light fare and spirits. My room was spacious and comfortable. After walking the camino I needed some rest. There was a big tub so I could soak. Chairs to find a corner and read. Peaceful.

We had just finished a cruise on the Duoro River and this was just a great place to relax before heading home. Nice bistro and excellent dining room.

The only problem with this spot was that we could only stay two nights! What a fantastic place, hard to describe the charm and coziness and stylishness, but suffice it to say I've stayed in fab hotels and resorts all over the world and among small hotels this is as good as or better than any.

Good value for the price. Free coffee is a plus.

The place is way beyond our expectations. It truly has notable character and somewhere I would prefer to “gate-keep” from others by not leaving a review to tell others about how much we enjoyed it. However, I had to leave a review because Susana and the staff at this property were above and beyond.
