When we first got there, there was a huge industrial door and we had to use a buzzer to get in. We almost booked another hotel. However, the person running the place was quite lovely and let us out to a little cute pool area where we had a nice dinner that they delivered to us. However, we had to hike another mile or so outside of the city to get to the hotel would not stay there again.

Agréable séjour

La formule Motel était tout à fait adaptée à mon style de voyages par étapes. Garage sécurisé à côté de mon logement qui était en parfait état. Bon service avec tout l'équipement nécessaire d'une salle de bain. Je n'ai pas profiter de la piscine mais elle est très belle. Le petite bourgade à proximité Caldas de Reis est touristiquement intéressante avec de belles randonnées et la mer pas très loin.

BUYER BEWARE! My worst hotel experience ever, felt unsafe so we gave up our 2nd night for free cuz we could not handle the smell & broken amenities The owner Roberto seemed nice when he gave us a ride into town because of the lack of taxis, but then threatened to kick us out when we complained about the neon light flashing in our room all night, broken amenities, & uninhabitable smell in our room. He angrily gaslighted us as if we were being too picky. DO NOT RENT here unless you like the smell of an open septic system and poop, in your room & while sitting by the pool. Across the street from the sewage treatment plant, which is not mentioned in the description. The suite jet tub was lukewarm, the TV did not work, food was overpriced & terrible, and no refrigerators in the room to bring your own food. They claim 24 hour room service, but during the busy dinner hours, nobody answered the reception phone for two hours, and when we finally got the phone answered, all they have after dinner is crappy packaged donuts. The shower was clogged, and they literally told us to just put down towels and would offer us no compensation for the backed up poop factory smell in our rooms. The location is too far out of town for walking, and the terrible food is overpriced. Our suite had no windows and even the speaker system was broken It is impossible to catch a taxi back to the place at night because they all shut down so had to walk over a mile in the dark or along busy narrow freeway.

DO NOT RENT here unless you like the smell of an open septic system and poop, in your room & while sitting by the pool. Across the street from the sewage treatment plant, which is not mentioned in the description. The suite jet tub was lukewarm, the TV did not work, food was overpriced & terrible, and no refrigerators in the room to bring your own food. They claim 24 hour room service, but during the busy dinner hours, nobody answered the reception phone for two hours, and when we finally got the phone answered, all they have after dinner is crappy packaged donuts. I stayed here for one night after walking 15 miles from Pontevedra on the Camino de Santiago Pros: -The women at the front desk was very kind and let me check in 3 hours early -The price is hard to beat as it was 35 euros for 1 night for a single standard room with king bed (the rooms are also very spacious) Cons: -You feel like you are entering and exiting a maximum security prison as you can only enter and exit the premise through a gate that has to be opened by talking to person at reception on an intercom -My room was in poor condition: there was a small hole in it, lots of hair in the bathroom, and the heating was not working (Thus, I was rather cold since it was 55 degrees F° outside). -The motel is about a 15 minute walk from the center of Caldas de Reis Overall, not a bad spot to stay while on the Camino as it is a very good price but many things need to be improved and the rooms desperately need a remodeling/renovation

Pictures on expedia website were not as what property presented. Motel was out of town and off a highway-made it hard to walk to with no vehicle. Staff were friendly and room was clean
