"Staff were excellent and the breakfast provision was also very good. The room was ok and a decent size. The cold tap wouldn’t move atall though when we tried to have a bath. We had to run cold into the bath through the showerhead. Plenty of parking though which was also free which isn’t a given everywhere anymore. "

However the bed was a bit uncomfortable and lumpy and the sauna was not working and steam room was only partially working. Pool and jacuzzi all good. "Fantastic location and sense of being in a special place. Room was in annexe but that was fine, just a short walk across car park, and was reasonably spacious with efficient lift. Staff could not have been more helpful whether cheerfully bringing more tea at breakfast or dealing helpfully with enquiries at reception. If coming by car, parking seems tricky. We had to go to nearby paid (£5 for 24 hours) car park but we're fortunate to get a hotel space on day 2. Swimming pool is a great extra facility, especially when quiet "

"We had the most amazing bank holiday weekend staying at this lovely B&B in Keswick! As two friends who love hiking, it was the perfect base for exploring the Lakes. The location couldn’t have been better – close to beautiful trails, stunning views, and the town centre for a well-earned meal after a long day out. The room was spotless, cosy, and really comfortable – exactly what you need after a day on the fells. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, giving us great tips on walks and local spots we might have otherwise missed. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight – fresh, delicious, and set us up perfectly for our hikes. You can tell a lot of care goes into making guests feel at home. We honestly had such a fab weekend and didn’t want to leave. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, friendly place to stay in Keswick – especially if you’re planning some outdoor adventures!"
