The Leeds to Liverpool canal-side walk from Saltaire is absolutely beautiful, especially in the summer when everything is luscious and green (July2016). Saltaire itself is also a great place to spend an afternoon, walking around the park and exploring Salt's Mill. The cafe inside - named after David Hockney's dog - is great and very pushchair-friendly.

"A beautiful building and the rooms were well furnished. However no food or hot drinks available. Hardly any personnel around Room not serviced and we used codes to get in and out. Not a place we would use again. "

"The restaurant was lovely and the staff very friendly. The food was good value for money. We went to Wentworth Woodhouse Flower Show and it is a very easy walk. There is also a large garden centre very near. There was plently of parking at the property and the bedroom was huge. Very good place to stay."
