"We went to get away from the city and enjoy some quiet and privacy. Enjoyed the pond view and the dragon flies! The cabin was nice and cool which was great considering it was a little toasty outside. If you are looking for a nice weekend getaway this is a great spot. Also close to some really nice trails."

"The property was very nice. Bed was hard and they do not supply any sheets, pillows or blankets. This is a single room with a very small fridge and microwave only. I also sent several messages to the owner and got no response. We made the best of it. The bathroom shown in the pics are of the shower house which is mediocre at best. . It desperately needs a good cleaning."

"The Cabin was very clean and was above average in value. The host was very attentive and responded to all questions in a timely manner. The Black River was low and we decided not to go canoeing. The area is sparsely populated and there was not a lot of eating establishes to choose from. Not a lot to do if you do not utilize the river. The scenery in the area was beautiful. Probably would no go back to that location again."

"We have been here before. This is our second stay. We love the tin roof cabin. We call it the girl scout cabin because of the layout of the beds but we heard it used to be a nunery. Either way it is a spectacular property. We were traveling with all of our children and spouses. We love The Abbey Kitchen, Elephant Rocks, Johnsons Shut-Ins, and new this time we rafted with Parks Bluff. A great trip. Two things; the listing says toaster and we didn't see one. Also the air wasn't working...
