"A great house overlooking a beautiful bay in a very quiet area. There is a patio with views to the ocean, a surprisingly cold plunge pool, and everything you need. Tons of space too, for our family of four. No AC, but you don't need it! Constant ocean breezes kept the place cool and bugs away. You can go to the bay below, but the ocean is not very swimmable there. No worries though there are several drivable beaches nearby, including the amazing Batibou beach. We would go out for the day and enjoy the wonders of this amazing country. It was nice to know that upon returning, there would be this great pool, views, and breezes. Very relaxing! There is a small grocery store within walking distance. It had everything we needed, your results might vary, but if you are open-minded, you might be shocked by how awesome Dominica is! There is also a great restaurant you can walk to, Poz, and Calabishie with more restaurants is a short drive away. I probably wouldn't recommend trying to drive from here to attractions in the southern part of the island, but there is enough to do up north to warrant 4-5 days. If that is your choice, then this is a great house! "

"Excellent stay: rooms are clean and comfortable. A/C worked great, shower was awesome and surrounding views are beautiful. Great restaurants in town as well as small grocery store and ATM. Property manager was polite, courteous and helpful (he met us at the property). He had the hottub waiting for us nice and hot!"

"This is in an idyllic forest setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fun and tasty. There is parking outside and across the road. WiFi is great. It's the opposite of quiet but the noises are rainforest sounds and cattle, which is restful in a different way. The rooms are pretty basic and a little tired but have everything you need. It's convenient for the airport and river but there is no hiking near to the property. "
