"The property was a little smaller than expected, but definitely worked for our family of 4. It was a great spot for our dogs, but a little further from restaurants than we expected on steep, curvy roads. Loved it was right on the water and the fire pit was great. The kayaks were great and we were able to fish off the dock. Nice quiet cove, but can’t really see the main channel."

"This area was so private, I’m new to Missouri all together and this was my first trip to the Ozarks with my wife. I absolutely loved our little cabin area it was super clean, the host is extremely accommodating, we were able to enter as soon as we arrived which was a bit before check in. You are about 30 minutes from everything but you have some nearby restaurants and shopping. I would book here again for sure."

"Stayed for almost a week for some rest and relaxation and it has all that. Although on a dirt road like most lake houses, short drive to attractions and destinations I was looking for including golf courses."

"This is little piece of heaven. So clean and peaceful, I love the family style breakfast and conversation. Camping in style, the tiny cabins are private and clean. The view of the Osage river is amazing. Surprisingly a community shower/bath house - was very clean and you can lock the door privacy."

"Lovely cabin with a cool history right on the Osage River. Generally very quiet with only the occasional passing car and the sounds of the local peacocks and hummingbirds for a peaceful background. Rhonda and Chevy are awesome hosts; be sure to have a chat with them when you get a chance."

"If you're looking for a cabin getaway in Missouri, away from noise and the city lights, and a place to just get away from life for a night or a few days, this place is it. It's a bit of a treck along a gravel road off the main road, but once here, you won't regret it. The hot tub under the stars was incredible. There are plenty of places to hike and enjoy nature. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. We will definitely be back in the fall."

"We absolutely loved it here! We wanted peacefulness and to be able to stargaze and we got it all!. It was a wonderful first trip together! We were able to see the milky way. "Cabin is near, bed is comfortable and it was okay place to stay. The road is less to be desired, potholes everywhere. Staying next to mobile homes with junk everywhere makes it great scenery and little worrisome of the neighborhood. The place heats from a space heater in each bedroom one didn’t work, checked breaker and it was fine. Also from an electric space heater/fireplace in the living room. Needless to say the place was freezing. Floors colder than heck. The place was clean at least....
