We mainly spent time in Decorah, IA, which was just a few miles from this B&B. There’s quite a bit to see and do in the area of Decorah/Calmar. Good restaurants and coffee shops.

Calmar is a small town and there is not much there. The train station is open daily as a museum and my interest there is that several ancestors traveled through there when they emigrated to America, also several nearby churches and farms.
