Villa Blanca is a great family vacation house, located in Cabanyes, a quiet urbanisation in the village Calonge. It is a typical Spanish villa white with round shapes, situated at the end of a dead-end street and at the edge of a national park. This guarantees that you can take a sunbath undisturbed by the pool and in the well maintained garden.

Our villa is at cycling distance from the beach of Sant-Antoni and local supermarkets. For those who want some more action: Playa De Aro (a paradise for shopping and nightlife) and Palamos are only 10min away by car. The location is perfect for citytrips to Barcelona and Girona.

Villa Blanca has a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living room (with fire place) and a seperate dining room, all with access to one of the terraces. Every bedroom as well as the living room has got airco.
Two of the bedrooms are located on the first floor, both with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom (1 with shower and one with shower and bath) and with direct acces to the front terrace. Upstairs in the roud-shaped tower are the other 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with shower.

All around the villa there are terrasses with sunscreens to enjoy the sun or shadow all day long. A Weber barbeque is present to enjoy quality time with family or friends. In front of the villa there is a magnificent private pool, with an outside shower and a separate sun terrace.
Please note that there may be governmental water regulations in place at the time of your visit, which may impact the use of the pool, garden watering or limit tap water usage.

Pros: Villa Blanca is a really nice stay even with our extended family with 5 children. The villa was very well equipped (for example all the kitchenware, tableware etc.), very tidy and clean, and everything worked as expected. The pool is really nice and large enough for many people to swim and play at the same time. The bedrooms were big enough and Functional. Both bedrooms downstairs have own bathrooms attached. Whereas the 2 bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom. The location of the villa is peaceful and quite, with a short car drive to the nearest beach in Sant Antoni. The only slight minus might be that you will need a car to get anywhere, even the nearest supermarket is a car drive away. The local contact point for the villa was very good, there was an immediate response to any possible question / problem we might have.

Pros: The pool was amazing and having air con was well needed Cons: Problems with mice in the kitchen, strong smell of sewage in the house occasionally. One night of rain resulted in no electric for a day so unable to shower for 7 people day and morning and having to use an electric socket outside to use kettle and toaster. Plus only been told upon arrival that we have to dispose of all our rubbish at the local tip which was unacceptable for the cost of the villa and having to take our final bag the day we left with the car full and putting the rubbish on my wife's lap wasn't my idea of a good departure. Plus would of expected some compensation for the problems

Pros: De rust rondom het huis met de natuur rondom en uitzicht. Het ruime zwembad met veel goede ligbedden. Prima bedden met een ruim formaat. Huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Uitgebreide keuken waarbij niks ontbreekt. Nederlandse tv zenders, goede wifi. Airco en goede plafond ventilatoren. Rondom rolluiken. Cons: De keuken is erg smal door de kast die erbij is gezet. Hierdoor was het lastig elkaar te passeren. Slechts 1 sleutel voor de poort. (Lastig met meerdere auto’s)

Pros: Wat een top week hebben we gehad in de villa! De accommodatie heeft werkelijk alles wat je nodig hebt. En meer ;). Een groot zwembad, fijn overdekt terras, schone ruime kamers en niet te vergeten: een super uitzicht waar je naar kunt blijven staren. De twee kamers beneden hadden beide een eigen badkamer, wat heel fijn is wanneer je met meer mensen bent. Ook was er genoeg te vinden aan keukengerei, BBQ tools en dergelijke wat heel fijn is wanneer je niet elke avond uit eten wilt gaan. Ook Platja d’Aro en Calonge waren leuk en zijn we vaker heengeweest. Kortom: we hebben een hele fijne week gehad in de villa en zouden hem zeker aanraden!

Pros: Een heerlijk huis waarin het je feitelijk aan niets ontbreekt. Groot zwembad, goede faciliteiten en accurate behandeling van wensen wanneer je die doorgeeft aan de beheerder. Alles in het huis werkt prima, heerlijke airco (was nodig met 38 graden :-)) en voldoende terrassen zodat je eigenlijk altijd in (of uit) de zon kunt zitten. Ook contact met eigenaresse verliep erg prettig. Kortom: absolute aanrader (maar neem wel iets mee tegen de muggen, want die kunnen er veel zitten) P.S.: Verderop in de reviews staat een behoorlijk negatieve review in het Engels. Geloof hier niets van, alle daarin genoemde negatieve zaken hebben wij op geen enkele wijze mee gemaakt.

Pros: Dit was de 2e keer in deze mooie villa, we hebben heerlijk genoten van het prachtige uitzicht en de heerlijke tuin ! Met 2 gezinnen is dit huis echt een aanrader!, genoeg ruimte en privacy ! Parkeerruimte is er voldoende en een mooi “nieuw” terras met heerlijke ligbedden ! Het strand en de gezellige dorpjes liggen allemaal in de buurt en de mooie kleine baaitjes ook !! Het was een top vakantie en gaan zeker weer volgend jaar naar dit mooie gezellige prachtige huis !! Heerlijke vakantie aan de prachtige costa brava☀️☀️☀️

Pros: Wat een prachtig huis en wat een ligging / uitzicht! Alles voorzien en tip-top in orde. De airco's (in elke kamer) zijn een bijkomend groot pluspunt. Aan het zwembad zit je helemaal privé, vlak naast een natuurgebied. Het dorp en het strand zijn vlakbij met de auto en een uitstap naar het levendige Platja d'Aro duurt nog geen 10 minuten. Wij komen zeker terug!

Pros: Wij spendeerden dit jaar onze jaarlijkse vakantie in deze villa in Calonge. Vanaf het eerst contact met de eigenaar tot na ons verblijf is alles correct en vlot verlopen omtrent de boeking en betaling en terugbetaling van de waarborg. Bij aankomst in Calonge werden we eveneens vlot en correct geholpen door de mensen van Spainholiday4u, het bureel voor de sleutel af te halen ligt op 1km van de villa wat zeer makkelijk is bij aankomst. We waren aangenaam verrast bij aankomst aan de villa want deze is prachtig gelegen in een rustige buurt en voldoet aan alle gestelde voorwaarde zoals ze werden beschreven in de advertentie. Met als uitschieters het mooie zicht over de bergen vanuit het ruime zwembad of vanop een van de verschillende terrassen. Ook binnen was voor ons alles in orde, ruime kamers met badkamer, goede bedden en airco in elke kamer van de villa. De keuken was van alle moderne comfort voorzien. De streek rond Calonge heeft voor ieder wat te bieden want er zijn grote stranden met meer toeristische centra maar ook gezellige kleine baaitjes en stadjes. Wij hebben samen met onze vrienden en de kids een topvakantie gehad in deze mooie villa!!!!

Pros: We waren bij aankomst positief verrast. De Villa ligt aan het eind van een doodlopende straat tegen een helling op. Privacy is gegarandeerd en het was in de avond stil. Maar dat kan ook liggen aan het feit dat het voorseizoen was (eind april/begin mei). Villa is westelijk gelegen (zicht op de bergen), daardoor tot eind van de avond zon in de tuin. Genoeg terrassen waardoor er altijd keuze is voor schaduw of zonnig plekje. Wat verder opvalt is dat het huis goed onderhouden is en ook belangrijk: het was bij aankomst schoon. Bedden hadden uitstekende matrassen, waardoor we ook aan onze nachtrust toe kwamen. Het grote zwembad is voor de kinderen natuurlijk een groot feest. Zij hebben er niet zoveel last van dat het water eigenlijk nog te koud was. Minpunten kunnen wij voor deze Villa niet verzinnen.

Pros: Met een gezin bestaande uit drie generaties hebben we hier een heerlijke vakantie gevierd. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien zoals airco, complete keuken en wasmachine en droger. Mooi en modern, schoon en ruim met een groot zwembad met zoutwater en mooie ligbedden. De omgeving is rustig. Er is een goede supermarkt op 5 minuten rijden. Het uitzicht is adembenemend. Het contact met de verhuurder was prima en ook ter plaatse werden we op onze wenken bediend.

Pros: Wat een genot! Een werkelijk prachtige villa met praktische indeling. Twee grote slaapkamers beneden met elk een badkamer, grote woonkamer met open deuren naar terras en een keuken van alle gemakken voorzien. Boven in het torentje nog 2 slaapkamers met een badkamer met douche. Groot genoeg voor 2 gezinnen met kinderen in ons geval. Het uitzicht is prachtig want het is boven op een berg, en in de ruime tuin ligt een heerlijk zwembad! Wij hebben genoten in de week dat we er waren, en wensten dat we langer hadden kunnen blijven.

Pros: Prachtig huis met goede ontvangst in Calonge, zeer rustig gelegen met voldoende ruimte, prachtig zwembad en geweldig uitzicht op de bergen. Huis ligt relatief dicht bij een supermarkt en de uitvalswegen naar Barcelona, Girona, Begur en Palafrugell. Wij hebben genoten.
