"Like some of the reviews have already described this place..I really wondered what type of accommodation this is supposed to be, a school? A prison? A youth hostel? Definitely the strangest place I’ve stayed in and wished I’d read the reviews before booking, as I’d booked it in a rush. Stayed in 6bed female dorm, locked with a physical key rather than the normal electric which meant that I wasn’t “allowed” to lock it at night while I slept, which was scary as a solo female traveller bc anyone...

"We had such an amazing time staying at Jorge and his wife’s property. The pool was amazing and sitting by the pool in the evening visiting with family was awesome. The family made use of the pool table and the froze ball game. We swam and really enjoyed it. My husband is from around that area and we have decided to stay there again if Jorge will have us"

"Really great property, quiet area. Carlos, our host, was very helpful, gave us lots of ideas for places to see & a little insight of life in Portugal. Lovely pool. lots of outside space. We prefer places a little out of town & this fitted the bill perfectly. Supermarket a short walk up the street. Enjoyed the evenings eating at the table outside, or by the pool."

"Perfect location, beautiful room with a view of the water, gorgeous breakfast room, and a bar, but on top of that the staff went out of their way to help us with a carpark issue, devoting significant time and energy to making sure it was resolved. It's rare to get that kind of service in any hotel anywhere in the world. "
