"Stayed at property for 2 nights. Sitting on the back porch watching the wildlife and beautiful sunsets. "

"What a view! And with the changing tides, the view actually changes throughout the day, which is so fun. The access to the beach just out the door was so nice. We brought a paddle board and could go out on the water as we pleased. Came across the coffee bar at Captain whidbey’s next door and could walk along the beach to go grab breakfast to go. The house itself was just fine. No bells and whistles, but clean. "

"The property was breathtaking, & the cabin was well stocked with things you didn't even know you needed. The weather was a bit on the cool side, but we still spent time on the lounge chairs outside enjoying the view. The pond & the fish were bigger than expected! Loved eating & playing games on the large dining table. Having the covered porch means you would be able to sit out there in the rain & listen to the waterfalls without getting wet. "We booked this house because of its proximity to friends who live on the island and the views, as shown in the listing. The house is well stocked and the views are gorgeous. Many reviews comment on how old the house it is, but I found it in great shape/ functional and clean. It also has a special beach charm. My only concern is that the “kid’s room” has its own entrance/ exit. We used outdoor chairs to “barricade” the door at night to ensure safety while sleeping. An exterior lock would be nice...

"Tucked away from everything. Quiet and peaceful. Good view of the water. The neighbors helped us find the path down to the beach that was at the end of the street. The communication was great! It was about an hour away from Deception Pass state park. Be aware there is no AC, we were able to cool off with having windows open in the evenings and early mornings."

"Beautiful views of the area and Mt. Baker! This house is in a nice neighborhood with lots of space between them, so the yard is private, and the deck is huge! Kitchen was updated and accommodated cooking meals for our family reunion. Rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. A/C was a plus on the warm weekend we spent there. The shower door needs some repair but overall everything worked great. Would stay again! "
