"Very clean which was great. No air-conditioning and no fans which during a heatwave made it quite unpleasant. It was absolutely not clear on booking that the pool is over 18s only. The pool was the only reason we picked this property and our 14 and 16 year old were excited to cool off in the pool, to be told they couldn't was hugely disappointing. There appears to be a restaurant but we were told it is not open in the evenings."

We discovered it on Orbitz after a very disappointing experience at the Ibis Budget, and we could not have been happier with our choice.The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, with fans and windows that opened, providing plenty of fresh air, which made a big difference. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. They also recommended a fantastic local restaurant for dinner, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit we went there twice. If you're visiting Caen and looking for a welcoming, comfortable place to stay, I would highly recommend this hotel."
