Top Cambria Hotel Reviews

Cambria Pines Lodge

Cambria Pines Lodge

8/10 Good
"I really wanted to love this stay, but ultimately I did not. It's a nice property and a historic site. Beautiful grounds and right outside Cambria. Two to three minute drive. A five-minute walk if you want to use a steep, long staircase. Food was good. The lounge is nice, but the entertainment varies. The service was terrible. I requested someone to come and lift the Murphy bed back in place. A man came, but said he could only lower it. He could not raise it. On the morning we checked out, we requested coffee from the restaurant, but that's not something the offer. I then requested more coffee for the room (it comes in packets, like tea). Nothing came, I requested again. I called four times before someone finally dropped it off shortly before checkout. I want to give them another try. It's a unique experience with nice, if rustic, accommodations. But I'll go with a more self-sufficient mindset. Service is spotty, at best."

"The property was nice. The room was clean. It was close to all the stores in town and in walking distance . The only thing that I have to complain about was the showerhead needed to be replaced. It had hard water stains and mold. The shower curtain was also moldy. Other than that, I love the place."

Cambria Beach Lodge

Cambria Beach Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Very welcoming staff and the room was spotless. The rooms are fairly small and not much space for a lot of luggage, but perfect for a shorter stay. Location is perfect, right across from the ocean. Overall I would definitely recommend."

Pelican Inn & Suites

Pelican Inn & Suites

8/10 Good
"Great location across the beach with spectacular ocean views. Our room on the ground floor with outdoor patio was spacious and clean. The bathroom was dated and in need of some repairs (cracked floor tiles, loose cheap white caulking around the sink and bathtub, insects around the sink, etc.). The king size bed was very comfortable and the sitting area featured a gas fireplace. Room service was not existent. Requested to check the TV for a fuzzy picture multiple times and it never happened. I ended up fiddling and removing/reinserting cables on the back until I got an HD picture. Room service did happen (finally) after stopping at the lobby and talking to Garrett multiple times. The daily "breakfast" is a joke: coffee, a slice of bread, and a tiny cup of yoghurt. Over all, I recommend it because of its location across the ocean, the breathtaking view, and its proximity to everything in beautiful Cambria."

The Rigdon House

The Rigdon House

8/10 Good
"Overall a great spot. The location is what makes it, followed by the friendliness of the staff. The free drinks at happy hour and chill vibe were a plus. The only part that wasn’t great was that while the lobby area was updated and modern, the room we were in badly needed new carpet. Aside from that it was clean and again, a top notch location."

El Colibri Hotel & Spa

El Colibri Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"I made a last minute solo trip to stay at this lovely hotel and I also booked a Swedish massage. The hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming and provided advice on where to go for dinner what to do. They were even able to provide an early check-in after my massage. The spa was so relaxing. I had the place to myself and relaxed at the jacuzzi. Although this hotel is next to a main road I didn’t hear the noise from cars while at the jacuzzi or in my room. I slept very well too. I highly recommend staying here."
