"The hotel was nicely kept with a rich history behind it. Rooms were extremely spacious. The outdoor fireplace provided the tranquility we were looking for. Location was a perfect walking distance from the main street which allowed us to walk the town. The two free drinks was a nice touch to our checkin process. I would definitely be staying there again."

"A perfect beach getaway! Lovely property with many outdoor amenities. The pool, hot tub & gas fire pit were a perfect welcome. A/C unit offered a respite for the humid 90 degree days. Rooms were very clean, well appointed. I would upgrade the hair dryer, but that’s me. Awesome storage & hanging space for clothes. Hooks in bath for hanging wet suits. Loved our visit. Top of the mark was the ice maker with filtered water to fill bottles. And Breakfast! Directly across from water & sunsets😎💥"

"Fireside inn is one of the top tier hotels on Moonstone Beach, and for the surrounding area. The excellent views, room, and staff are what makes this place tops in my opinion. It’s also centrally located for dining options, walking along the beach, and Hearst Castle, of course. It’s a very short distance to Cambria."

"Nicely updated Cambria hotel on Moonstone drive, smaller than other hotels with friendly staff. Casual atmosphere, nice breakfast with just the essentials and no fuss. Bed was comfortable. Would recommend for short stays if passing through area."

"I was very impressed with this hotel. From the moment we checked in, the girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She also gave me a list of recommendations on dinner and other useful tips about the area. The hotel rooms were very clean and the bedding was nice and comfortable. We had asked for hypo-allergenic pillows which came right away which was appreciated. The hotel also has EV charging. One of the things that really stood out and made me write this review is they gave us a free breakfast picnic basket which had the best freshly squeezed OJ and sparkling beverage (forgot name as I didnt use it) for mimosas if you wanted to make, some fresh pastries from a local bakery, a fresh thermostat of hot coffee and a to go kit for the cream/sugar, and a blanket all inside the basket! We walked like 2 mins down the boardwalk and had an oceanfront picnic on a table. This was something I was not expecting but was a nice touch and something we felt went above and beyond. The hotel also serves smores at night, had some free wine, and had fresh baked cookies which were amazing! The hotel is also right across from the ocean where there is a nice boardwalk you can walk along the beach. They are also dog friendly which is big reason why we stayed there. I highly recommend this hotel for a nice get away! You will not be disappointed. Thanks for a great trip White Water!"
