"Got to the property 30minutes early and had to wait for our room to be ready. That was fine but once inside our room it wasn’t as clean or nice as the photos. Everything in the room is overused and many things didn’t work and/or were missing. There wasn’t a window screen in the restroom window. The hot water in the shower was inconsistent. The patio furniture was so dirty we couldn’t use. Not enough parking every night. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors snoring. The good parts about this place is the location. It’s close walking distance to the beach and bench areas. It’s about a 10 min drive to Hearst Castle. We drove 5 hours to enjoy this place and I really wanted to like it but the photos oversold what it looked like and how clean it really was."

"Our stay at Sea Otter Inn was incredible. The ocean view from our room and back porch was wonderful. Ocean, flowers and a huge shade tree to sit in our room’s Adirondack chairs to have coffee and tea. Had the ability to buy breakfast for the morning that is delivered in a gorgeous picnic basket. Great extra touch! Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to our friends as they travel up the coast!"

"We had a wonderful night stay. The front desk clerk (Jack, I think) was super nice and helpful. The room was clean and the shower was nice. We took advantage of the fire pit in the evening. We had a dinner down the street. We just walked over ate and walked back to the hotel. Everything was great. Oh! And we had a beautiful view from our window! "
