"Excellent location. The property was great and the welcome wine and chocolates were a lovely surprise, especially as we arrived on my birthday! I would knock half a star off if I could just because the towels were hard and crunchy, but the place was really great for our purposes overall. We had eight people and we had enough space, including a nice garden to do some yoga in. Space for everyone to eat together would have been tricky, but we mostly ate out."

"We enjoyed our stay. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. It is an ideal location, about 20 min walk to town and a short walk to Mill Road, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. The living room is cosy and as it is at the front of the property, you can hear people walking past but it wasn’t too noisy and didn’t bother us. The beds were comfortable, though they are doubles and we felt the main bedroom would be improved by a king sized bed....

"Very clean and comfortable place. Great having a bakery just a few doors away! Great communication from the owners. Some street noise in the front bedroom on the weekend, but not a problem with the windows closed. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The accommodation was comfortable. The bathroom is in need of updating and a deep clean although the shower was excellent. The outside of the property belied the inside - it is in need of care and attention, the bins were overflowing and the brambles had taken over."
