"Wonderful alberque. Be prepared for a bit of a different experience. To help eliminate unwanted bed bugs, which hitch a ride on pilgrims bags, your gear is stored in lockers downstairs and a laundry basket provided to bring up what's needed. Your gear in the locker is secured by a key and another locker upstairs as well. The beds are made and the shower, sink, toilet ratio per person is excellent. "We stayed in late April early May. The house and gardens are wonderful. Great for two couples and Jose looked after us! A simple house with great WiFi, views of Gijon but in the countryside so a drive into the city! As it was early in the season not much open locally but lots in town and very close to some other towns and beaches but you would need a car! I would only suggest that if guests are staying more than a week they install a washing machine and do a change over of towels and linnen...
