"The cottage was great! Right next to the river, the nature center and a beautiful trail for easy walking/biking. HEB down the street gives you everything you need for a cozy, chill stay. Listing was accurate - and yes you can hear cars going by, but it didn't bother us and the fan provided really helps if it is an issue. We did run into a few quirks (the lock on the door didn't seem to lock consistently from the outside and the stovetop sometimes didn't work/dial numbers were loose on the oven...

"Tin Star is a great place to stay. Very close to the center of Bandera. The unit is clean and well maintained. Actually purpose-built to be a rental. The area is very peaceful and quiet. Super dark at night, so lots of stars. My only nit is the unit could use more places for the traveler’s things. Zero horizontal surfaces available. Dresser completely filled with bedding. No hooks or available shelves in the bathroom. Otherwise awesome."

"This little gem has a wonderful, comfy, king size bed. Cute farm house decor. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need. We enjoyed sunset walks on the River Trail with entrance located directly accross the street. Fenced back yard for pups. I would have given a five star rating if not for the multiple step ups and steps downs inside the house. I would not be able to bring my dad to this house. I tripped going from the kitched into hallway. For the agile, this house is perfect."
