"I stayed here for four nights. The room was clean and quiet. Quiet until the fourth day when a woman with a dog occupied the room beside me. She left the dog in the room for three hours and it barked non-stop. So, be prepared to hear your neighbor if you are unfortunate enough to have one who is inconsiderate. Otherwise, for the price, this hotel is worth the stay. There's several places to eat within a two to five minute walk."

"The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The hotel is just off the 401 so perfect for a pit stop. Our room was on the ground floor but there were stairs, if you know you will have lots of bags good idea to ask for no stairs. Someone stood outside our window smoking and yelling into their phone at 10pm. The indoor pool was surrounded by three walls of windows, so I did not try it. I think the hotel should consider having some of the glass frosted. The breakfast was good but the espresso/latte machine was broken. For type 2 diabetic, there were a lot of sugary choices. Most potatoes were gone 30 minutes into breakfast and the sausages were a bit odd, scrambled eggs were nice. We paid over $200 for the night but I would have been happier if it was more like $125. For us the stay was between 2 and 3 stars"

"This hotel is outdated in the best possible way— it feels like going to a rich relative's house in the 90s. Ornate and stylish, lots of character to the place. Tub also had jets, which was a great surprise. Room had a fireplace, but it was summer so they had the gas turned off. Water cooler in the lobby (very hot weather when we stayed, so this saved us), they pay for your parking in the King Street garage, room had a small window A/C unit but it got the job done very well. Great stay for Musicfest"

"The manager was extremely helpful and friendly. He made sure we had everything we needed and there was no issues every time we ran into him. Room was newly renovated with clean and spacious layout. While not over the top with amenities it is a clean and quiet place to base your excursions from. There is several food and convenience businesses located within a short walk. They are also conveniently located just off the 401. Will definitely stay here again."
