"We had an issue when we booked with Expedia on a double booking that I did not make. I only received one confirmation on 1 booking but at 2 days prior an email was sent that I didn't open confirming 2 rooms (I believe it was a glitch in the system as I only booked 1 rm) Because the reservation was completed on Expedia the front desk lady at Comfort Inn could not do anything to remedy this, however she called Expedia to request change. Expedia said there was no one in authority to do this, however the front desk at Comfort Inn helped us. This was a tremendous help on the charges. I personally called Expedia as well with absolutely no help from them. I have decided in the future I will call the hotel directly rather than using a third party as we received much more support from Comfort Inn than Expedia"
