"In many ways the perfect hotel by the airport the night before leaving. Easy check in, clean/quiet room, quick dinner from a nice menu. The only negative(s), one small elevator trying to get many checked out in the AM. Be prepared to go up to come down. Additionally, the free breakfast was like a college cafeteria. No one was clearing the tables—folks would eat, leave and the used placed settings remained. You needed to hunt for a clean space."

"The hotel is absolutely charming, with so many of its original period features beautifully preserved, which made our stay feel even more magical. One of the highlights was enjoying cocktails at the Hemingway Bar while listening to live piano music. The spa was wonderful, with both indoor and outdoor swimming facilities, and was the perfect place to relax. The hotel is also very well located, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Throughout our stay, the staff were incredibly attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. A beautiful hotel full of character, and a truly memorable stay."

"The hotel was pretty nice, set in gardens with a view of the lake. The room was a good size but could do with an update. Everything was clean, staff were lovely. We arrived pretty tired after a long drive and asked to use the spa and were told to go and seek out the spa and book it ourselves. I must admit, I didn't bother. Why they didn't get the spa to call our room or allow us to book at reception I guess we'll never know."

"Good value for money, free parking is great, location is good if you have a car. Hotel room was as expected, the cost of breakfast and use of Spa facilities is extra and a little bit on the expensive side (which is why we did not make use of this). The sound proofing in the rooms is not great, you can hear the noise from the corridor everytime a door is shut or people walk past the room. Beds were comfortable and the room was well maintained. Overall would recommend the hotel based on the location and price point."
