"We enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is a little dated, but the staff were wonderful. Really enjoyed the refreshments offered upon arrival, the pool and spa, and terrace bar for an apertivo. We mentioned it was my son’s birthday, and the housekeeping staff left candies and a birthday balloon in our room—so sweet! Great breakfast buffet and decent dinner in the hotel restaurant. Plus, the view from the terrace is amazing!"
"This was a family holiday- Mum, Dad and two teenage daughters- 16 and 19. We were there for 12 nights.
The hotel is in an excellent position, by the lakeside. You can walk across and swim from the hotel in under 5 minutes, which is ideal.
Breakfast was a good selection buffet and the pool bar did a good range of sandwiches/salads for lunch. Happy hour was 2 for 1 on "spritz's"
We didn't do the lunch or dinner but both looked a bit heavier and fussier than we wanted.
The staff everywhere were really helpful, especially at reception in terms of helping with transport or booking excursions. There is a shuttle bus to Bardolino that runs 4 or 5 times a day and the last trip back out is 8.30pm. The walk to Bardolino is about 20 minutes, depending on how fast you want to walk in the heat. If you go the other way, then Cisano is only 5 to 10 minutes walk and there are 3 or 4 good restaurants there.
There a 4 pools altogether- the 2 main ones are large and the lifeguards do make sure there are no ball games or inflatables- seems a bit harsh but those things are allowed in the other 2 pools and does leave the main pools feeling a bit more grown up. There are a lot of sun loungers but people do tend to "book them" with their towel early on so beware! There is an indoor pool for thundery days too.
Overall, this was an excellent hotel, comfortable, clean and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay."
"This place was anazing and a close walk into town. The view was beautiful! The room was just what we needed for our family of 3 and the balcony was spacious. The staff was amazing, parking was paid but worth it. Highly recommend!"
"Amazing location right on the lake shore, with secure parking available for extra cost. The lake and mountain views are serene, with great food at nearby restaurants as well."
"Really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean but don’t leave any sugar drinks or food out! We did have ants but it’s expected on a property close to the water/mountains. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fresh and had plenty of options. The coffee and croissants were fantastic! Also bikes were free and paddle boards were 10$ which we took advantage of and were a nice touch for our stay. The hotel isn’t walking distance to much but the bus/trolly stop was right outside the door so very convenient. For the price of our stay and different amenities this hotel hit the mark!"
"Room was a bit tired but perfectly acceptable. Loads of space both in the room and bathroom. Nice partial lake view from the room/balcony. Breakfast was good and was kept topped up by staff. Seating outside under shades. Centre of Malcesine about 20-30 mins walk from the hotel along the lake."
