Leider war das angekündigte Wlan-Netzwerk nicht zu erreichen, was auch nach mehrfacher Nachfrage an den Vermieter über die gesamten 10 Tage unseres Aufenthalts nicht behoben wurde."

"The appartment is very spacy, clean, well equipped and also very cosy. Due to the wooden blinds and the stone floor the appart was still cool while outside temperatures of 32 degrees and hence very suitable for dogs. The garden is also very large and has a magnificent view on the lake and mountains."

"Appartment ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Küche vollständig. Sinnvoll ist eine Belegung bis 4, weil Schlafsofa unbequem und faktisch das ganze Hauptzimmer einnehmend. Tiefgarage und Zufahrt zu Germasino sehr eng, aber auch mit Audi A6 machbar. Mit Übung ist braucht man mit dem Auto weniger als 10min bis nach Dongo / Gravedonna ans Seeufer bzw. zu einem Supermarkt. Pool ist sehr schön. Terrasse großzügig mit einem schönen Blick auf den See."

Just instantly puts you in a good mood waking up to the breathtaking views...the pictures on the listing are accurate. The beds were so comfortable (even better than ours at home which is unusual from a holiday let) and the contact and help from the owner was perfect. "We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Fontanera. Very good communication with the host throughout the whole stay and beyond (as we forgot shoes). The house is perfectly suited for larger groups with individual bathrooms for each room. The views and garden including pool are great. Located on the hill you can choose to either walk to Gravedona (approx. 30 mins), take a bus or the car. We would definitley recommend it."

"Unseren Aufenthalt kann man im Allgemeinen als gut bezeichnen. Bemängelt wird, dass keine geeignete Kaffeemaschine für Zubereitung nach deutscher Art vorhanden war (Pulverkaffee, keine Pads). Das Türschloß vom Gartentor ist defekt, was insbesondere bei der Anreise, sowie im weiterem Aufenthalt zu Komplikationen führte.Das Umfeld der Treppe war verschmutzt. Fernsehempfang gestört (schwaches Signnal) außerdem nur italienische Sender."

"das Häuschen liegt wunderschön ruhig gelegen oberhalb des Comersees, ideal zum Ausspannen. Die Nächte sind sehr angenehm kühl. Die Betreuung war sehr nett. Die Strassen da hoch sind leider jedoch in einem schlechten Zustand. Das Auto muss ziemlich Geländetauglich sein um hoch zu kommen."

We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). The architecture and decor of the apartment was well thought out and probably the highlight for us. The only negative part of our stay was the bugs...
