Lovely peaceful stone farmhouse with pool and beautiful views

"The villa is as described an old farmhouse and beautiful! We spent a week as a family of 9 ( combining two separate families) and had an amazing holiday. Our only downside was that the weather was so hot- 36 degrees -that the bedrooms were very hot still in the night and the fans seemed to just blow hot air around not cool the rooms. This is no fault to the villa as everywhere is experiencing exceptional heat at the moment.The pool was a great asset as was the outside seating area to watch sunrise and sunsets."

"We were a group of 18 friends from Austria and stayed for 4 nights. The check-in was very easy and the staff (Alessandro) and service was amazing. The house and it's surroundings are absolutely incredible and we are so grateful for the beautiful days we were able to spend there. We would love to come back next year.Thank you very much!"

"My wife, two teenage children, and two other teenage traveling companions visited Montefortino and it was an all around amazing time and experience! The host and his wife treated us all like family the moment we arrived and he wouldn't rest until he knew everyone was feeling perfectly bliss. They cooked and fed us like kings and queens our entire stay. He insisted on obliging us on any question or simple inquiry to learn more about and enjoy everything in the absolutely beautiful region and environment. The home is a spacious comfort cottage in the mountains. The air conditioners were new, reliable, and everyone slept perfectly sound. An added bonus was knowing we'd be waking up to a delicious home cooked breakfast feast that was waiting for us to enjoy under the beautiful morning sun. The real beauty, however, is the people. On our last night, at our impromptu request, the host and his wife welcomed us into their kitchen to teach our four teenagers to make traditional pasta and desserts. Their loving dogs entertained my family that night and for our entire stay. We ended up eating dinner and celebrating that night with them and a few others from the surrounding towns. None of us were ready to leave when it was time to head out. You don't want to miss this experience!"
