"It was an excellent experience overall, the staff, amenities and food"

"We traveled with two other families, 6 adults, 7 kids age 5-16 and had the BEST time here. The staff were all so gracious and friendly. Esteban is a complete gem. He helped us learn about Costa Rica, taught us about all the plants and wild life, helped us with our Spanish and was just generally a joy to have present. We went horseback riding at the falls (definitely recommend) and went to Manuel Antonio national park (also recommend with a guide!). We had dinner cooked for us several nights and ate at a couple of the local restaurants. Mirador Los Chorros (on the hill at the turn) was one of our favorites:) can’t say enough great things about this spot. We’re already scheming for how we can make it back! "

"Our family of 6 stayed at Madre Salva for 6 days during April vacation. To say that the experience was magnificent is an understatement. It is unreal. The house itself is thoughtfully designed and an ideal fit for our family. The communication and attentive service from Carolina and Rume were excellent. It was remote enough to feel "off the grid" but surrounded by activities and everything that you could need. We did plenty of walking, waterfall hiking, white-water rafting, and relaxing. "The hotel is very well kept as the surroundings. The food selection is very good and the prices are fair. There are a lot of activities for guests such as bird watching, hiking trails, horseback riding. There is also a Spa that offers diverse services. Excellent place to relax by the River Savegre. I would definitely come back. "
