"This place is amazing. The photos don't do it justice. The house is gorgeous. So spacious and beautiful. We stayed with our two sons but there is space for at least 8 people. The pool is lovely and perfect for the hot weather. It's refreshed by jets of water throughout the day. The kitchen is well equipped and I loved cooking Iberico pork on the BBQ with its medieval style winding handle. The location is so peaceful, Really great to unwind from your daily cares. We arrived at around 10pm and Lourdes was waiting to let us in and show us around. She was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Although it is very remote, it's close to the main highway that leads to Cordoba (30-40 mins) and Seville (1 - 1.5 hours). Cordoba is stunning, really cosy with nice tabernas with great food. La Carlota is 10 mins drive away and has two good supermarkets and several restaurants. We had a lovely meal in Restaurante Doña Enriqueta (confusingly has a big sign on the building saying La Diva) - really nice, friendly staff and a great view out the windows when the sun goes down.One shower is a normal enclosure. The other is a bath attachment. There is no screen so water inevitably goes on the floor. But there are plenty of mats and towels to deal with that."

"This little roadside stop is a gem. Not fancy, but the stay was super pleasant. Great supper and breakfast. Clean comfy bed. Room had heater you can control. Plenty of hot water and great pressure in the shower. It was an unexpected gem. Nice hospitality. "
