"Hosted a bridal luncheon is this lovely vintage house! The hostess was quick to respond to inquiries, was very accommodating to our specific needs, and was very generous in offering the use of her personal china , her kitchen and pantry staples, as well as providing candy goodies and ice for our convenience! It was the perfect place for the luncheon as well as the perfect place for accommodating some of the bride’s family for the wedding weekend!!"

"Mold was on tent, pine straw was covering porch and walkway was overgrown with weeds. Cooler of provided ice had leaves in it. Grass was in the bed. Furniture was worn. Was told not to plug up refrigerator because we wouldn’t need it. Golf cart only had a little gas and gas cans were empty. Extremely disappointed. First bad experience with VRBO after many stays elsewhere."

"This was an amazing home. I loved the down stairs bedroom for my mom who is 81. My girlfriends and the bride stayed upstairs and we could visit and not worry about disturbing mom. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone even for a weekend get away. The lake is breath taking and want to come back to enjoy nature."

"Needed some place to stay while floors were being refinished. Quaint, laid back and only about 50 feet from Edisto River. It was very hot and not much to do if you do not do things on the water. The TV worked via Air Play from iPad. Watched some Braves baseball that way and Madam Sec Series. Beds are up against the wall. This made it difficult to get out of bed during the night. Shower leaves a lot to be desired. Killed two Copper Head snakes in yard since this is so near the Edisto River....
