"The aesthetics of the hotel were very beautiful, stylish, and hip. The staff was nice, and the downstairs lobby bar had a fun atmosphere. Overall, the hotel itself was nice.
My only issue was with the room view. I booked a king room with a city view and was under the impression that I would at least be able to see the street from my room. Instead, the view overlooked the backs of other hotels and buildings, including air conditioning units and service areas.
I also didn’t think the minibar setup was necessary. The beverage fridge was stocked with bar items, which felt unnecessary, especially since there’s a grocery store and drugstore directly across the street in New Orleans. That space could have been better used for a microwave or an empty mini fridge for guests to store their own beverages and snacks.
The upstairs bar and pool area were nice but very small. If you want a good spot by the pool, you definitely need to get there early.
Despite those things, I still enjoyed the hotel and thought it had a great vibe overall."
