"I didn't realize this was a micro apartment with sofa bed. Perhaps my bad - I didn't look at listing closely enough. I now understand that "studio" in Europe means sofa bed. I think a lot of time and money was spent to make this micro apartment smart and efficient. It was clean. Good for saving money but I wasn't terribly comfortable, it is tiny and I could hear a motor humming so had to wear my earplugs. There was little communication before I checked in and the lock box didn't work....

"Sehr kleine Wohnung mit minimaler Kücheneinrichtung und unfassbar dünnen Wänden. Es gibt zwar keine Spülmaschine, aber die braucht man wegen der geringen Menge an Ausstattung auch nicht. Die Kaffeemaschine steht im Wohnzimmerschrank und kann nicht mit Wasser befüllt werden, ohne dass man sie herausnehmen muss. Herausnehmen geht wiederum nur, wenn man den Stecker herauszieht. Möglichkeit, Kleidung aufzuhängen, gibt es nur im Zimmer mit dem einzelnen Bett, Stange etwa 50cm. Auch sonst gibt es...

"Logement bien situé : proche de la mer, du centre, d'un parc avec jeux pour enfants, et qui pourrait être très bien pour un court séjour. Cependant, une accumulation de beaucoup de défauts : sol de la cuisine collant, cafetière pas nettoyée, frigo sale, casseroles collantes, porte de la douche très difficile à fermer (impossible pour un enfant sans aide), rideaux très sales et collés à la fenêtre sur des amas dégoulinants de joint ... Le tout malgré un forfait ménage élevé et obligatoire !...

"Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet appartement ! Il est idéalement situé, à deux pas des restaurants, des commerces, et juste au pied de la mer à Houlgate. "Bon séjour globalement, mais de nombreux détails font qu'à l'arrivée, le ressenti est moyen. A commencer par la chambre, sur le site il est annoncé "suite junior", à l'arrivée c'est une chambre panoramique. Le petit déjeuné était très limité, pauvre en goût, industriel. Le spa ne possède pas de jacuzzi, les casiers ne fonctionnent pas. Bref, tout ces petits détails font qu'en repartant, on ne se dit pas je vais revenir très vite ! "

Par contre, dans les chambres simples, le rérigérateur fait un bruit, un ronronnement pénible lors de l'endormissement. Cet inconviemient ne se rteouve pas dans les trés grandes chambres (sépartaion chambre / salle de séjour)."

"Staff absolutely terrific. Breakfast all you can eat for three hours with a lot of possibilities. Endless teas/coffee/juices. Only a fifteen minute walk into downtown Deauville. Next to two supermarkets, a steakhouse & a Chinese restaurant before even walking into Touques. If I could give 10 stars, it would not be enough!!!"
