The pools were breathtaking, the views were spectacular, and the entire property felt first class. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. "The hotel was okay overall, but it felt a bit run down and could use some updates. The staff interactions were somewhat impersonal, and we didn’t feel particularly welcomed during our stay. Unfortunately, the food quality was quite disappointing and did not meet our expectations. The buffet area also had an unpleasant odor that made dining there difficult. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to friends."

"The hotel was very tidy and well kept. The housekeeping ladies were super friendly and cleaned our room every day! Pool was exceptional all beach chairs were new. Shuttle service to the beach was the best service for drop off and pick up. We would go back! "

"In a lovely setting! All the cottages are separate, some high and low, with 2 different pools. Cottages are rustic - so be prepared for that as my shower was outside. The room was clean and they provide a central water cooler. The breakfast was great, however i would recommend going somewhere else for dinner like Ladera or Rabot The staff were nice, but it always seemed like you were bothering them was asking them questions. Easy to get around if you have a car, but otherwise it's a little tricky. Close to the superman waterfalls and the sulphur springs, but still need a car to travel to them. Chocolate tour was underwhelming and as the staff seem so demotivated, the tour was very flat. However, they did make an effort on my birthday to decorate my bed, which was a lovely touch."

"We had a wonderful time staying at the Soco House, celebrating my sister-in-law's 50th with her siblings and their spouses. Everyone we met who worked there was wonderful!
