Only adverse comment is that the location shown in Hotels.com is in the village whereas it is a couple of kilometres outside along a steep winding road."

"This is the kind of gorgeous, historic property that you can only find in Europe. Details were thoughtful, the lawns and property itself were carefully maintained. The rooms themselves are all each well appointed lofts/apartments. The owner was attentive when we told her that we had to leave before breakfast so she brought a coffee tray and toasts to our room at 6am the next morning. I would suggest paying at the hotel on arrival because there was some confusion about pre-paying the rooms, but...

Så man skal køre ned af bjerget i ca. 20-30 minutter for at komme til første by med indkøbsmuligheder, ligesom der omkring hotellet er to restauranter og meget lidt internet. "It’s a nice & very convenient hotel. But the breakfast is awful, all mass-produced, pre-packed sweet and savoury items, even juices are from concentrate, not a good advert for Italian cuisine. The toiletries in the room are beyond basic and lots of plastic packaging. A little attention and creativity would improve things so much. It’s still the best place to stay in the area. "
