"Our son and granddaughter live in Dover so we always find a place to stay so we can visit. This was one of our favorites. Right on bear lake beautiful sunsets the water was warm enough to swim. There was kayaks there to use. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes,seasoning. We had a great time. Just be careful driving in the road is pretty rough."

"This house has a big kitchen/living room and comfy beds. Not drinking the well water was odd-would be nice if the water provided was in glass and more plentiful. Also the paddle board was broken which was a bummer but the owner was very responsive and worked with us to make up for that. It’s a sweet cottage."

"The weekend that my girlfriend and I spent here was fantastic. Ana was very helpful and the cottage was beautiful and cozy. Hiking trails, food, bars, and stores all in 10 minutes or less driving range. Would easily stay here again, nothing negative to say at all!"

"The view is lovely & yard well manicured. The gazebo & patio are very nice. The owners are super respectful, which is appreciated. Most everything was quite clean. The banana bread, waters, coffee & creamer were very nice touches. The decore was wonderfully eclectic. I did have a nice time hiking and going through the antique shops. Loved having a little face time with your corgies. The price point cannot be beat. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home."

"Nicole and Jason were incredible hosts. They were quick to respond, and were extremely helpful. The house was extremely clean, and we loved the open concept. One of our family members is in a wheelchair, and was able to get around the house with ease. The house was fully equipped with towels, blankets, bedding, dishes, and more. Overall, an exceptional experience."

"We had a wonderful time at this cabin! It was clean, quaint, and exactly what we needed to fully embrace the week. This was our second time staying on this lake. The lake is gorgeous! We have four kids, two girls 15 and 12 and two boys 2 years and 5 months. Everyone found something to do between swimming, hiking, kayaking, board games, movies etc! Chris and Marie are wonderful owners. The community had so much positive to say about them. We will definitely be back!"

"I come to The Cottages at Harvey Lake every year for at least a week. It’s a wonderful location, quiet lake, close to restaurants, nice little beach with access to kayaks, and very pet friendly. Nancy Carver is super nice, greets you when you check in and is very quick to respond if you need anything. Love coming here!"

"This property was the perfect setting for our family gathering! There was plenty of parking and the house/property is private, yet close to grocery and other stores. Everyone that came, absolutely loved it - could not stop talking about how nice it was to have the yard set up the way it is along the lake with the fire pit and plenty of chairs we could all spread out and just enjoy our time together, perfect! One of my aunt's even claims she was at this exact same property 60 years ago!? We...

"Me and my family had a pleasant experience at Anna’s house we had everything we could have needed she went the extra mile to make sure she thought of everything. She answered me right away if I needed something. The house was so cute and well put together me and my husband stayed in the master bedroom and it had an adjustable bed which made it comfortable for how me and my husband sleep. It was so beautiful waking up in the morning to the view of the lake. We will definitely be staying with her...

"This cabin was perfectly placed on a quiet pond in Northwood. My dogs were in heaven swimming in warm water, chasing ducks, and digging on the sandy beach. There were fire pits outside at night. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the other guests in neighboring cabins. Nancy was accessible and made it a point to come by to introduce herself, made great dinner reservations. Highly recommend. Also, if you stay here, you must go see Bob at the Northwood Diner. Best breakfast in town only 3...
