Stoney Fork Paradise on the Creek!-Private HotTub, Fireplace,Romantic,Wi-Fi,Pets
Stoney Fork Cabin is nestled on the banks of Stoney Fork Creek, only five miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 17 minutes from Downtown Asheville or The Biltmore. This is a place where memories are made. Life takes on the quality of yesteryear, with modern day comforts. You feel like you have "Gotten Back to Nature" and still can watch a movie or catch the big game on the big 50in flat screen TV. Walk out the back door, cross the private bridge, and hike the Pisgah National Forest...put on your "creek shoes", get a walking stick, and explore the creek...relax on the porch swing and TRY not to be lulled to sleep by the sounds of nature's best

Stayed here while visiting Biltmore, quaint older cabin. Hot tub right on the creek was great.

We found the cabin to be very rustic with a nice hot tub that sat on the creek would’ve appreciated a few more simple amenities, like a few basic cooking items and shampoo and soap in the bathrooms

This place was amazing. Quaint and beautiful right on a mountain stream with all amenities you could need. We have found our go to place to stay whenever we visit Asheville.

We had a nice stay, the hiking in the backyard was fantastic. The cabin is rustic and has some character. If you are looking for a posh stay this may not meet your expectations but if you want a nice place in the forest this is for you. There is a shower, working appliances and a beautiful forest to explore.

The location of this cabin is perfect. Nestled along base of the mountains along the creek which is delightful. The hot tub is a bonus we enjoyed alot. It is evident the property is an older house along a creek in the woods. Therefore there are spinder

The cabin is basic with all rudimentary necessities. The deck literally in the stream is a wonderful place to hang out.
Very private even though other cabins are nearby.

Lovely stream and hot tub! Steep driveway entrance, go slow. Older home, but we enjoyed the privacy!

Had such a relaxing time at this cabin. Hot tub was clean and worked great. Living room is best feature inside. Internet for other cabins too so not secure, but I didn’t want to work anyway. 😂 The kitchen had all needed but could use some new sauce pans. Creek came up with some rain which was nice for sound and flow. Loved the roof over hot tub so could use it in the rain. Would recommend at this price point! Bed was very comfortable!

I loved the place. It had personality and if it was warmer (I went in early March) i would have loved to keep the windows open to fall asleep to the sound of the creek right outside.

We enjoyed several nights in this lovely spot right on the creek. We spent hours just relaxing on the back porch. Location is excellent for trips into Asheville while still being remote enough to get away from it all; also easy access up the road to the Parkway. Hiking behind the house and hot tub were also nice.

The home and the premises were very well suited for us. We enjoyed the mountains. the fire pit, the hot tub and the kitchen was well stocked for our needs. My Children visited one evening and had dinner with us with plenty of room the visit. There was a short rain shower, but the front porch was comfortable for the visit. It was my best Birthday celebration in many years past. Would hope to visit the cabin again in the future.

The creek out back of the cabin and the convenient proximity to so many wonderful area attractions, makes this the perfect place to relax without giving up any modern amenities.
Joey and Eric are very attentive and do their very best to make sure your stay is enjoyable.
Thanks.

We loved our stay very much. The house is very cozy and also surprisingly roomy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and we enjoyed coffee in the hot tub (that sits right over the creek) each morning. We also hiked through the woods of the Pisgah Forest right from the back yard. It was a great time and we were very happy that we chose Stoney Fork Paradise on the Creek for our visit.

We had a wonderful time at Stoney Fork. The cabin is warm and welcoming and the location is perfect. The cabin is very easy to find at night - no driving around on long and windy gravel roads! I spent a good hour exploring the woods directly behind the house with my dogs. The hot tub overlooking the river was perfect for chilly evenings and chilly mornings too! The beds were comfortable and they have flat screens in every room. The well equipped kitchen had everything you need to prepare your meals. (Just bring your own food and spices and coffee!) The neighbors are close and honestly, that usually bugs us, but we never saw them and forgot that there was even a home right next door. If you are looking for a place to relax - that is still super close to Asheville - you should probably stay here!

My husband, son and his girlfriend and our dog Tucker had a wonderful stay in the cabin. It is an older cabin with a lot of character. The floors are a bit uneven in places and there are some spiffing up items that would definitely help, but we enjoyed the coziness of the interior. We spent our mornings on the back deck having our bagels and coffee by the stream. Soooo relaxing! The front porch is huge and a great place to enjoy being outside if the weather is rainy. The hot tub was a great place to end the day right next to the stream. Our Tucker enjoyed going for long walks in the forest just across the footpath into the Pisgah Forest. We can't wait to come back in the spring or early summer! Thank you for a great weekend!

We arrived after dark and it is very hard to find the driveway. Better signage would be helpful. Upon arrival- we found the house unlocked and lights on. We are 2 adult women and security is key to our stays. We called the owner and he let us know that we were in a very safe area and the door was left unlocked in case we couldn’t get in and it was cold out. He assured us that they have never had any problems so we were safe. The door we discovered the next day, does not latch so unlocked or not, anyone can get in. The kitchen, living room and bedrooms were clean and tidy. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms could use some work. Everything is dated and water stains on the tubs and toilets. Ceiling tiles were stained and damaged. The creek outback and the hot tub were as described. Our purpose for this trip was to relax and we did do that but with a little bit of TLC and cleaning, this cabin could be much more welcoming.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed this spot in Candler, NC. It was only 15 minutes outside of Asheville and overall a great place to getaway yet not be too far. Very cozy house, comfortable furniture, bedding, and atmosphere. My favorite part was the hot tub on the back porch that sits over looking the running creek which provided a peaceful and enjoyable soundtrack in the evenings while soaking in the hot tub.
The trail that lead into the woods behind the house provided a fun little adventure for us and our dogs, watching them explore and run around playing in the creek, jumping over logs and just being dogs outside.
There was plenty of space inside the house to lounge around in for reading, playing cards, catching football games on the television and very strong and reliable wifi.
This house is only about two miles from the nearest gas station and three miles from a dollar general for food and other items you may need. It also is located just about a seven mile straight-shot drive to more populated areas with restaurants and other businesses.
I would highly recommend this spot for anyone who enjoys a little isolation with the sounds of a rustling creek that gives you a feel of being "out in the woods" yet not too far from it all.
We had a very pleasant and relaxing New Years here!
