"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...

"Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. "It is a cool place if you know what expect. The staff is very nice. The room only had a/c in the bedroom, and the ceiling fan didn't work in the living area. They did bring us a plug in fan. The restaurant and bar closes very early, so pepare. I do recommend the omelettes in the morning."

We love adventure travel- especially to SCUBA Dive.... and this trip was it.Pinard Mountain Village will pick you up at the airport if you want. If not... Make sure you have a car with clearance... the road up can wash out and has some challenges.They can cook meals for you. Close to Diving.Close to water falls and hot springs.Awesome views."
