"We were a family of four spending 5 five nights in a three bed with a pool and an amazing view of the natural country side. The overall impression of the place was relaxed and friendly. But sometime this could be missed as too laid back with varied interaction with the reception team. Maybe their English was rusty? I think you have to remember that you are going somewhere remote from the usual tourist locations. The whole area was relaxed and this is something to remember. It’s not like a typical five star hotel, more of a home away from home with the addition of house keeping which was simply outstanding. The villa was cleaned too to bottom everyday. This was a lovely treat for any family who wants a break from the chores at home. The location was a little remote, but only 30 mins from some of the best beaches in the world. We loved our break here and would certainly return with another family to make it more fun for the kids- there are no clubs, but they do have paddle board which was fun. It was also my breakfast and the hotel kindly gave me a lovely cake to enjoy. A very nice touch. We would highly recommend for anyone who likes an adventure and home luxuries at the same time. "The staff were lovely. Rooms spacious and clean. Pool area very nice with a bar area. A lovely little dog called Lilly lives there. Breakfast was very good. The area around it was undergoing some work, but I think that is very typical of Portugal I would go back. "

"Fantástica nova propriedade totalmente focada nas crianças, excelentes actividades e equipa de animação fenomenal para proporcionar umas inesqueciveis férias aos mais pequenos. Para o valor, acho que podem variar um pouco mais nos buffets, achei a variedade de comida fraca para os standards Vila Galé e sugiro que coloquem mais amenities nos quartos (só tinha gel e champô 2 em 1). Sugiro também reforçarem a limpeza dos quartos e seus blocos, o nosso quarto não estava bem limpo (cabelos, pó e migalhas no chão) e à entrada do nosso bloco estava o conteúdo do cinzeiro despejado no chão uma manhã inteira. De resto, staff muito simpático e prestável, zonas comuns limpas, camas e sofá cama muito confortáveis. "

"We loved this little hotel. It’s hidden away but once inside it is neat and tidy with a nice pool out the back. The owners were lovely and breakfast was included with delicious homemade cake and fresh juice. It’s a good stop over on the way to or from Lisbon. "
