Our stay at The Falstaff was amazing. The hotel, location, parking and room were outstanding. I also have to give kudos to the staff with a special shout out to Sandra. Sandra made sure everything was perfect and made such an extra effort to help us through some tricky problems.
We had a 'cozy' room, meaning tiny, but it was nicely furnished with a TV and nice bathroom with a strong shower. The receptionist staff was friendly and helpful, pointing out the happy hour at the bar. 2 for 1 deal plus a cheese plate. The hotel is centrally located with parking behind ( parking in Canterbury is expensive). Very close to the town center and restaurants. Decent breakfast choices. The 14th century building successfully marries old and modern.
We had one night in Canterbury, we spent Sunday shopping along the High Street and then had a meal out at the local Weatherspoon's (at the end of the hotel car park). The hotel was beautifully clean. We had a good nights sleep and woke to have an amazing full British. All we could ask for... Car parking is £15.00 for the day-night which is done on the smartphone and nothing to do with the hotel so you must be Techie Savvy to park. Overall and excellent experience and exceptionally close to the high Street for shopping.

Nice hotel rooms are a bit small and dark. Breakfast fairly good. You have to pay to use their car park £15.30 a night. They won’t let you check in early so arrive at 2.45 or later.
Lovely hotel, very clean and friendly staff, and Happy Hour every night! Ideally situated at the top of the town, near Canterbury West Station. Has secondary glazing, so if you have a room looking out the front (it is on a busy road) you can pull this across to shut out the road noise. Would recommend, and if visiting Canterbury again, will definitely stay again!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Great location for the hotel. The room itself was roomy and comfortable with nice decor. Breakfast was excellent!, As a solo female traveller, I would gave preferred being assigned a room on higher floor. My room was on the main floor with large bay windows on the main road right next to a pub/bar. A bit disconcerting but after closing the heavy drapes I felt okay. The biggest concern I had was with the low water pressure.
Really smart, boutique style hotel in the centre of Canterbury. Really comfy & relaxed. Super helpful and friendly staff. Feather pillows too - wow what a treat. Top notch breakfast, recommend eggs benedict or avacados on toast
.
Lovely historical coach house with lots of character and very easy walk to all the Canterbury attractions. Great staff, good food and hotel very clean. Will definitely stay again
A very old building but clean and the staff were very helpful. I had a fall while staying (not in the hotel) and Sandra on reception was very concerned and assisted with ice for my bruises and also fetched my bags down on our departure date. Would go there again but request a slightly bigger room. Ours was a little small for two adults trying to get ready to go out!
Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, bed was super comfortable. The staff were helpful, efficient and polite. The breakfasts were very good. Great Hotel, we will definitely come back again
Excellent room on ground floor in main building
Very good choice of food for breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. Overall lovely hotel and close to shops.
The rooms are in historic buildings adjacent to the main hotel so they can be stuffy as expected but there was a fan provided which helped. Thankfully temperatures were only as high as the mid 20s when we stayed, but there is no AC so bear that in mind if that's something you're used to having. The main building itself is beautiful to look at, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent . They also have happy hour for residents between 6 and 7 with free cheese! That was a lovely touch; the cocktails weren't bad at all either. It's close to Cafe de Soleil which I recommend you go to if you do stay here, I think you'll get a free dessert there if you book a table there through the hotel. Overall, we had a great stay - the location was amazing and the room was comfortable.
The property Iis v very well kept. The areas are very clean. Rooms are comfortable. Close to city centre and convenient . The staff is very cordial, respectful and friendly. Bar area is nice and breakfast menu is good. Definitely would come back for another stay.
