"We had a wonderful stay with our family. The staff were very friendly and the place was well cared for. The amenities were kept clean, rooms very nice and spacious. The pools were fantastic and kids had a blast at the water park/slides. The Tamarindo Bar had amazing iced coffee. Highly recommend staying here!"

Hotel is definitely bare bones and in need of some updates…towels worn, beach chairs rickety and there were some issues with the plumbing (shower didn’t drain well, toilet barely flushed). We were in studio 6 and our biggest complaint was the VERY bright outside hall and stair lights that shone in through the windows at night directly into the bed even with the blinds drawn. These should be dimmed after midnight and/or better blinds need to be installed. I had a stairway light shining in my eyes all night and had a hard time sleeping because of it. Howler monkeys also woke us up at 4 am from the trees right outside this unit - not the fault of the hotel, but still something to note. All in all a good value and we would consider staying again, but would not recommend staying in that end unit because of the bright outside stair/exterior lights and the monkeys. "
