"We wanted a place away from the urban area and this farm house didn’t disappointed us. It is a lovely house made of beautiful and expensive wood. We had to go through very adventurous mountain roads which we loved. Good facilities to have for a self catering location. Don’t expect a big market within few miles in the area. The owner Mr Burger who also lives next door has a very friendly and good personality."

"Highly recommended to anyone who loves to get out in the mountains. Networks of beautifully signposted Swiss footpaths pass the front door. The scenery is dramatic - limestone cliffs creating steep sided gorges - and makes for some challenging mountain biking! Gabriele was a generous host and her apartment made a cosy and extremely comfortable base for exploring. We were grateful for the warm log stove on the cool October nights."

"A great option for a family stay in Basel. We were travelling from the UK. Could sleep up to 6 comfortably but only one bedroom - with two double beds. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. Helpful touches were the two Swiss electrical adapters for the Swiss sunken style power outlets (normal round European adapters don’t fit!) as well as a kettle and toaster. With 5 adults we had to be very efficient with the one bathroom. The apt could be better equipped - more mugs for example. the owner was very responsive to the requests we made during our stay.
